Pastoral Team
Pastor – Simon Ogbourn

Simon worked in the field of medical research before training for ministry at Oak Hill College (a Church of England theological college in London). He served as Assistant Pastor at Spicer Street Church for five years prior to leading Ridgeway Church. He is married to Tara and they have two children who attend local schools. When he has any spare time Simon enjoys playing / watching sport (especially cricket) and reading biographies.
Assistant Pastor – Tim Dennick

Tim grew up in St. Albans and became a Christian at the Alban Arena in 1989. He moved away to University and lived in High Wycombe and Oxford for a number of years working as Water Engineer. He would say that he experienced a significant growth spurt in his late twenties when he understood the gospel more fully and grew in confidence in the bible. This led him to quit his job to train at Oak Hill college. He joined the staff at Ridgeway in July 2011.
He is married to Emily and they have a daughter Anna, and a baby on the way. They live in Marshalswick.
Tim is passionate about people in St. Albans coming to understand the wonder of the gospel, and Ridgeway growing to be a shining light in the city.
In their free time Tim & Emily enjoy spending time outdoors with Anna, and watching the West Wing.
Church Elders
Simon and Tim are assisted by three Elders, Jonathan Kefas, Peter Buckley and Jon Storkey.
